Costa Rica

Friday 7th May

We decided to cut our trip to Panama a bit short and move on to Costa Rica ...... a smart move!  Panama was interesting and the trip to the actual Canal was very worth while but our hotel wasn't great and we were looking forward to San Jose, so off we went. 

So we've had a couple of extra days here as our (organised) trip only starts tomorrow, Saturday.  So far we've had a good wander around and Thursday we went out to a Coffee place which was very well done and very interesting.  Apparently the Coffee here is "arabica" lower in caffeine but higher in taste so we were told.  The owners were Britt who we have seen managing airport shops and in various other projects around, but it was very well done and we had one of the best buffet lunches we've had yet ...... HOT too, it is possible!  Photos to follow.
