Tuesday 9th March

For a change, we have an up to date set of photos! 

We are in Sydney at the moment and have been extremely well looked after by our cousins Alison and Sarah.  And Alison isn't even here! She, husband Tony and daughter, Maggy are off up in Queensland for a weeks' holiday and have been very generous and lent us their house for the week.  Weshould cross over for one night before we fly off to Christchurch and can say thanks then.  The house is on the hill above Newport Beach in North Sydney and looks out over the sea - fantastic views and so far fantastic weather.  Photos to follow!

In the meantime, Sarah has been looking after our tourist needs, which lead to the up to date photos mentioned above.  Sarah asked us out for a "Bush walk" in the National park to the north of here with a friend of her's, Marisa, who knows the park very well.  We walked down to the bay shown in the photos and then all the way back up again.  But as you can see, the weather was magnificent and the walk was absolutely wonderful ...... the swim was even better! (The brownies we had after our lunch gave us the energy to get back up the hill again!)

Tonight we are off down to the village for some food and tomorrow we are taking the Manly ferry into Sydney and then back in time for supper at Sarah's.
